Lord of grace, mercy & peace we look to you today & every day for your presence your love your guidance and comfort!
Lord there are so many things happening. So many moving parts. Somethings we can see coming & other things sneak upon us and takes us by surprise.
We have outward struggles as well as inward struggles. We battle with pain, sickness, insufficiencies of others, our own insufficiencies, responsibilities, spiritual warfare within our minds & bodies.
People are suffering from loss. Loss of job, loss of health, loss of relationship, loss of direction, loss of peace, loss of freedom. Nervousness is high. Anxiety levels are up. Desperation is creeping closer. Some days it’s hard to get out of bed because of this, that & the other.
Other people’s responsibilities has now been cast on us. Lord sometimes it’s just hard to keep up and take a breath! Sickness here, surgery over there, nor cure over here, 3 & 4 different medications over there! Lord we are in a whirlwind, a cycle of uncertainty. But you keep us stable. You keep us grounded and hopeful. You settle us at the right time. You have us in your loving care in all situations this life may bring. Sustain us this day, in Christ Jesus name amen.
